The main objective of this report is to carry out a comparative analysis of EU educational programs in engineering and sustainability, with special focus on sustainable water management and the advantages of these types of programs, compared to academic oriented programs. Desk research and benchmarking of programs and courses in different countries (Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Portugal, France, Denmark, Serbia, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands), had permitted to establish the best practises in Sustainable water management courses, by means a comparison between these countries: there is preferably classroom teaching modality, with theoretical and practical contents, completed with visits or workshops.
