IECE is part of the consortium that received a grant from the COST program (SA 20138, proposal reference number OC – 2020 – 1 – 24986), entitled Network for water-energy-food nexus.

The network has 46 participants, scientists and researchers from all European countries, as well as from The United States, India, Japan, Israel, Tunisia, Turkey, Lebanon and China.

During the 4 years of the project, IECE will participate in the development of research and exchange of results in areas of particular importance for sustainable global development. As a member of the Management Committee of the Action from Republic of North Macedonia, IECE will contribute to the successful organization of the work of the working groups.

The first meeting of the Management Committee of the Action was held on September 22nd and 23rd, 2021, which marked the beginning of the Project.
