The Study is analysing the current state of cultural heritage, its accessibility, natural heritage and tourism opportunities, cultural differences and valorise tourist resources in region from the aspect of tourism.
The Study implies which of the numerous resources in the region could be in the function of tourism. Only resources which have a suitable attractive potential, which are connected to traffic and which enable performance of certain activities have been distinguished. The conclusion is that the sustainable development of tourism must be through sustainable use of cultural and natural heritage, as distinguished tourist resources, in order to prevent their destruction, degradation, deterioration and loss.
