As the coordinator of the CATALYST Project, IECE took part in the Forum on Vocational Excellence in Graz and once again was part of the wider European CoVE community.
Together with our colleagues from FH JOANNEUM – International Management, we presented CATALYST – European VET Excellence Centre for Leading Sustainable Systems and Business Transformation, sharing the journey of the project, the results achieved over the past four years, and the experience of building and connecting Centres of Vocational Excellence across Europe.
With five national CoVEs connected through one European CATALYST Centre, 70 online courses, Specialisation Programmes, Business Pilot Projects, a growing network linking education, business, research and the public sector, CATALYST has created much more than individual project outputs. It has built a strong foundation for continued cooperation in sustainability, skills development and business transformation.
The Forum was therefore also an important opportunity to look beyond the project itself – to exchange ideas with other CoVE initiatives, meet new people and discuss how the knowledge, partnerships, tools and models developed through CATALYST can be further exploited, sustained and built upon through future collaborations.
A special thank you to Bojan Jovanovski, Thomas Winkler, Johannes Oberndorfer that jointly represented CATALYST with the director Angelina Taneva-Veshoska , and to the organisers for bringing together such a diverse and inspiring community of people committed to strengthening vocational excellence in Europe and beyond.
