We had a great start to the month!
The initial meeting of the Project ARISE – Innovative training program and verification of sustainable energy skills in the construction sector was held on the 1st and 2nd September 2021, through remote (online) participation of all project partners, supporting partners of the Project and speakers – representatives from universities, industry and international organizations.
At the opening of the meeting, the basic concept, goals and objectives of the project were presented.
Amadine De Coster-Lacourt, Project Consultant at CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency), in her opening remarks, said: “ARISE will contribute to the goals of Green Deal and Renovation Wave by providing recognition and demand on sustainable energy skills in the construction sector. ”.
The Institute for Research in Environment, Civil Engineering and Energy, IECE participates in all work packages, and leads the work package of Market Implementation Preparations, within which the following will be developed:
- The algorithm of the transactions of the acquired skills and qualifications, within the European recognized qualification system,
- Guidelines for private and public investors on the application of incentive measures for the recognition of skills in construction processes, as well as
- Policy recommendations for the implementation of a pan-European approach to the recognition of sustainable energy skills.
The training and qualification transaction system to be developed by the Project will provide participants with cryptocurrency with a value commensurate with the level of competencies achieved – CERTcoin. The received credits will be deposited in the Individual Learning Account and can be used in valid certificates.
The training process will thus become more accessible, more time efficient and equally attractive to all professional profiles of members of the construction sector, both in terms of delivery and demand for services and products.
